Have you seen the show Matchmaker on A&E??? Well, i think it's a good show. It's a reality show about a professional matchmaker and it showcases all the pitfalls and successes of the singles she tries to puts on dates together. Anyways, she matched this shy forty year old guy (who happened to be a virgin, even though he was pretty handsome) with this vivacious, aggressively flirty woman. So she asks him why he doesn't go after what he wants, dating-wise, and he says he has been rejected before. And she, without missing a beat, says "So what?" "..." "So what?" and I just thought that was really just.... true.


but anyways, that's been something that really struck me, so that's been in the corner of my mind since watching that episode, i haven't had the confidence to ask anyone out yet, but i think i could.
