How does a Shy-bi get noticed?

i've been bi-sexual since i was 19 years old. i had one bad experience where a girl i had a crush on didnt feel the same way and was talking about me to her friends, so since than i've been really scared to be open about it.
I lead a hetersexual life. im married, and im a military wife. He is all the man i need, but still i am lonely for a female companion. I know there are a few gay or bi females here in Misawa, japan. but u have to be -------- about stuff like that.
i am totally lost and dont know what to do. Someone help me!
