I often ponder on why words could be so hard to say, like each and every word spoken is somekind of matter of life and death. I am not sure if at one time I was just shy, or if back than it was just the beginning of what has grown beyond just being shy but now a fear to socialize. I am not sure even how to label it, some call it shyness, some call it a mental disorder, some call it anxiety, some call it social phobia, some call it a chemical imbalance, and some call it - well let's just say I heard worse. But heck to be honest I really don't care how I am labelled, which sounds kinda contradicting being that I don't care what words people use to label me, yet at the same time it's words that I struggle to put a voice to and I don't even know the reason of my own fear of it all. Ah, well just words. |

I really like your view on this, Thornz. I know a lot of people [including myself] that would frett over what people thought of them, when they are this shy. I can't say that I relate one-hundred percent on being this shy, but I have my moments; just like a lot of other people. ^_^ I just thought I'd drop a quick few lines, letting you know that I think that you are smart for not caring what other people think and all that. Later!

I appreciate your comment and compliments. I believe you to be right, it is quite normal to have moments of shyness. We all have our good days and bad days and that is just a part of life. I have to say Sakura, that I am so happy that you can't relate one-hundred percent on being this shy. To be honest I wish nobody could. I wish we all could just be who we are without shyness, without worries, without judgement and without all those things that sometimes prevent someone from being just themselves. |

As long as there are people who are cruel, insensitive and feel they can advance in life by stepping on others, there will continue to be people who take the protectiveness of their shyness to extremes. Hopefully you can find safe places to explore that allow you to regain your self-confidence. It is often helpful to volunteer our time and energy to those who are less fortunate than us. They tend to be very appreciative and help us to see ourselves more realistically. |

`Hi all,
I do think like you sometimes Thornz; I dont care about what people want to label me.
I do my best to overcome my shyness, and I would love to be surounded by people who understand me.
I am so busy struggling with myself to become social. I wish I can wake up one day, and can do whatever I have to do without worries!
