Hello all, I recently joined this group and I am a very shy person. What I find interesting is, that this 'condition' bothered me a lot more ten years ago than it does today! I don't know what it is; I think that I am older now and wiser, but still not more outgoing... I think I have come to terms with my being shy and I am okay with it. I think a lot of shy people are unnecessarily hard on themselves; hey it's a personality trait, and we should be more self-accepting and self-loving. That's how I look at shy folks nowadays.
