I sent 1 message and got answer next day in this february 2013 Actually it is good idea to look at persons login activity before sending them message. Who have logged in more than 3 months ago last time might not be anymore active members so to speak :)

I agree with "indesign" above in that it's good to check out the person's login activity before contacting them. I myself don't message anyone who's been out of circulation on the network for longer than a month.
Anway, I always respond to whomever writes me. I've initiated and sent out a few emails and most have responded. I don't take it personally when a few fail to reply. It's not a reflection on me as a person. The thing to remember is to not get discouraged or take it personally if the recipient of your email fails to respond, or even read your message. I see online dating pretty much like a numbers game. It's the Law of Averages. Sooner or later (if we are patient and persistent) we will meet the person that we seek. In the meantime though, it's just fun browsing and talking to the few people that actually respond.....

It is not because of shyness. There is no need to reply when one doesn't care or don't have to. You are just a stranger. I'm replying because I stumble upon this and I'm simply bored.

I read your post and it's true.

Miku, that's how women usually short out mails sent to them. Because men get way less mails and they usually answer to them.
As you can see there is nothing wrong with person who sent the mail. Mostly women are in search for something themselves (they don't know what it is what they search for) and they overlook your email for sure.
To sum it up women don't reply to message because sender is stranger and for that same reason men send messages to multiple women-- they are strangers for them.
