Is friendship important in a Relationships?

Hi , I was wondering just how many people Think that a friendship is a important part of a relationship. Why most time a relationship end and the friendship is over. or a Friendship end and seal any chance of a Relationship. Can one be in a long relationship and never attain friendship? Should the two be as one ? Just wondering how other's view a Friendship and a Relationship.

`Hi, I believe that you can not have a true relationship without friendship. A relationship should be built on trust, friendship and loyalty, amoungst other things. If a relationship ends, it normally means that your friendship has changed, however you can be friends after the relationship and the other bases are no longer valid so you can concentrate on the friendship.

`IF relationship includes friendship then it is great. For long term relationship you desire friendship in it. For experimenting and getting experience firendship is just a bonus.
Rarely things what you expect happen by themself. It needs constant care and work to keep relationship a float. Keeping things balanced requires both partners involment.
