I've found that people can connect deeply simply because of temperament or similar background or issues...NOW THE SHY PART...i've never married, out of deep insecurity. dealing with various emotional issues such as deep anxiety, feelings of inferiority & shame...all of which i understand as irrational old "tapes" or wounds from early childhood. therapy, especially mind-body-emotion work & meds have helped alot. still, i need to deal with these problems ona daily basis. it does certainly limit my social life & ability to meet compatible women
