I had an abusive, dangerous childhood and all my life I've been searching for healing. I've been a Buddhist for 8 years and I'm in trauma therapy, and finally I'm getting a taste of freedom from acute anxiety. My interests include music, reading and writing poetry, camping and hiking and canoeing. I have wonderful friends and I'm very close to my slightly older sister. I swim regularly for exercise and ride my bike to work (I'm a writer) when possible. I did yoga regularly for years but have taken a bit of a break. I have 3 wonderful children, all teenagers now. I have shared custody of the 2 youngest, both girls. I'd enjoy meeting a woman who struggles with anxiety--I'd feel accepted and accepting.
