I am a very shy person, who takes a bit in order to become comfortable in new situations. Due to my shyness, I have not had much experience with dating. As I get older though, I am realizing that I need to get myself out there more.

I am hoping to meet some new people and form some friendships. Ultimately, I would like to meet someone who is in a similar situation to the one that I am in who will be able to gain some experience and have some fun!!!

I am a teacher and adore my job. The kids that I work with every day are all wonderful people. Although there are days where I want nothing more than to not have to deal with teenage angst on a daily basis, I feel lucky to be able to have some type of impact on the future.

When I'm not working, I enjoy traveling to different places. I am a fan of the sport of figre skating and travel with a small group of friends to different skating competitions and shows.

I can be somewhat of a homebody and would much rather hang out in a small group of people than at a huge gathering with people that I don't know very well. I love movies and music and try to laugh as much as I can throughout the day. I am a very optimistic person and try to see the best in every situation.

I would say that my patience is my best asset. Being a special education teacher, patience is definitely a requirement. I don't like confrontation and try to avoid it at any cost. Overall, I just like having a fun time and learning something new everyday.
