Graduate school has consumed my life for the last two-and-a-half years, and as a result, I didn’t have much time to date. I’m in a somewhat awkward position when it comes to dating because I had to move back in with my folks, and I guess I am a little inhibited about that. However, my past career was unfulfilling, and I needed to do this in order to afford an advanced degree (in counseling) and find the right field to enter. I’m “in limbo” right now because I’m taking a leave of absence from my graduate program. I just needed a break from the academics, and I’ll get back into it by the spring or summer semesters. Also, my parents are trying to sell their home and move to the suburban Hartford area, so I’ve had to help with a lot of “home improvement projects.”

I have a variety of interests. I enjoy watching sports like baseball, tennis, boxing and MMA. I’m interested in classic cars, both foreign and domestic. Detailing my car is also a hobby- albeit a laborious one! Going out to dinner and bars is something that I like very much, but I could also stay in and watch a good movie or TV show. Museums can be interesting; I saw a Dali exhibit when I lived in the Philadelphia area. Dieting and exercise are also important; I watch what I eat, lift weights, walk and practice martial arts.

What I’m looking for? Someone who is kind, compassionate and open-minded. Willingness to try new things would be great! No drama- just relaxation, happiness and fun!
