I don't have a problem introducing myself with a smile and trying to get to know someone. I just am not really a conversationalist. I don't trust very easily and have a hard time sharing about myself because of a very painful past/childhood. I have healed a lot and have a happy and loving attitude. I try to leave the past in the past, and it's not something I like to talk about because I don't have a lot of happy memories to share with people. That seems to be a big hurdle as far as connecting with people and developing friendships.
