After giving up on life a while back, I've decided to dive back in, start over and do things right this time. I'm back in school studying something really challenging but which promises to be very rewarding, and I'm doing really well so far. I'm in great physical shape, and I keep that way in part by practicing aikido regularly. I love science fiction books and movies, mostly because I like looking to the future and not dwelling on the past. And I'm a cat lover with two aging Siamese keeping me company.

I've been told my greatest assets are my smarts and my sensitivity. The latter sometimes seems more a burden, but I accept that it's the way I am. I'm really shy at first with people, but once I open and trust someone, you'd never think of me that way. I'm looking for someone smart and demure to keep me company, someone who likes to laugh but who needs to be comforted every once in a while. If you'd be just as happy having a quiet night at home as going out and doing something fun and different every once in a while, then maybe we'd be a good match.
