Nerd Girl Seeks Nerd Boy I am a 28 year old woman who is caring, intelligent, and progressive. I am a law student who is planning to work in public interest environmental law. My hobbies include hiking, reading, leftist activism, cooking, and seeing movies. (Well okay that last one doesn't exactly qualify as a hobby). I'm a veggie for ethical reasons. I didn't want to post a picture showing my face on the web, but I'd be glad to email one.

I have social anxiety disorder (extreme shyness), but I like to get involved in activities and reach out to others anyway, and I'm working proactively to overcome my anxiety. I would like to meet a man who also has an issue of one sort or another; perhaps we can help each other to grow. I'm not seeking a person who is perfect, but rather someone who is actively striving to become whom he wants to be.

I'm looking for a kind, left-leaning person, age 23-33, who shares some of my interests. I do not smoke or use controlled substances, and want to meet someone who doesn't either. If you enjoy alcohol that is fine, as long as you are not a heavy drinker. I'm open to dating someone of any race, nationality, religion, et cetera.
