In the words of Sinatra, "In me you see a man alone; held by the habit of being on my own. A man not lonely..." No, not lonely, but in seach of a partner in crime to join me in life's wonderful adventure.

While I consider myself a spiritual man, I am definetly not religious. No bible study, mass, temple, ashram, coven, etc., for me. The church of the mountain stream, the cathedral of the clear night sky, the temple of the California Redwoods...these are where I go to listen to god, in whatever form I perceive him, her or it to be. Stephen Mitchell's translation of the "Tao Te Ching" is a good encapsulation of my views of life and living. I am a proud liberal.

I enjoy travel and was able to visit some parts of Europe over the past few years. The west coast of Ireland, Belfast, Amsterdam, Colmar and Rome were some of my favorites. Am I the only person who didn't care much for Florence? Paris is the best...I think I was meant to live in Paris, I just can't convince myself to learn French.
