I wouldn't call myself antisocial, and there's always somebody weirder, but I do consider myself somewhat awkward compared to a lot of people my age. I watched my mother go through a handful of boyfriends before settling down with a good man (in a cohabitant relationship) when I was 4, then lived on an isolated ranch -- miles away from my closest neighbor -- between 4 and 16, and so spent years daydreaming in my room; I was already 8 when the first of my two sisters was born. I have spent the last couple decades catching up with my peers, and become an extremely conscientious person who takes the Golden Rule seriously. Many women say I'm the nicest guy they've ever met, but eventually dump me because they don't think we're compatible. I seem to have the most luck with divorced mothers who are less interested in passion than in finding a stable father figure for their kids; unfortunately, the few I've been involved with were always chest-deep in debt and ex drama. My biggest challenge is finding someone I like who likes me back.

For those familiar with the MBTI personality test, my type is INFP. I'm a bit shy around strangers, especially in a crowd. But I do like people, and am very easy to approach. I am a giggle monster, and pretty good at making others laugh occasionally. I am up for just about anything, including some outdoor activity, though I am more indoorsy than outdoorsy.
