I guess I can best describe myself as non-mainstream and maybe somewhat nerdy. My interests tend toward the obscure and the overlooked, whether it be music, cinema, television, books, or even politics. While the mainstream is fine, I find more satisfaction in the hidden gems and half-forgotten corners of our culture and society. Think of it as visiting an antique store. You never know what unique things you can find.

I am a shy and somewhat introverted person (which is why I'm here, of course), but once I get to know someone well I am known to open up considerably. My ideal woman would be a young lady of similar temperment, of good character, a sarcastic sense of humor, and with an openness and appreciation of the uniqueness of each individual.

Finally and perhaps most importantly, I believe strongly in treating women with respect and dignity. I have found that the most lasting relationships in this world are based on mutual respect, appreciation, and understanding. I feel that I have a great deal to give to, and offer, the woman in my life, whoever she may eventually be.
