I am looking for a sensitive and insightful person who is interested in literature or anything that falls into the realms of the unexplained. If you're a writer, I will enjoy reading your stories or poetry. I love classic literature/poetry, especially works from the Romantic through the early Modern era. There's an interminable list of good books to read; it would be fun to have someone with whom to read the same books so we can discuss them. I'm also interested in someone who loves listening to music without talking through it or using it as background noise. I love what many others would consider boring or unchallenging: long silences, hours of reading or writing at a coffee shop, Lifetime movies, etc. Physical relationships are not necessary for me, but a rare, magical rapport is definitely important to me. I'm fairly wealthy and live sort of a calm hermit's life. I rent a room at my mother's house. I don't have any kids and don't want any. I've been divorced twice. I won't think you're a nut if you're into conspiracy theories. I don't drink -- I've never even tried beer -- nor do I use drugs of any kind (legal or illegal). I sold my car; I prefer riding the bus and not bothering with insurance, gasoline or car repairs. I'm the kind of person who will genuinely find your story interesting, no matter what it is. I like to hear other people tell me about their lives, especially their deepest thoughts and feelings. I'm a busker: I play bagpipes on the street for spending money; I don't touch my savings. I like riding my bicycle and walking. I also enjoy thrifting, recycling and dumpster diving. I love Thai food, pizza and cold sugary cereal. Most of the women with whom I have had relationships were more outgoing than I; now I'd like to find someone more introspective and thought-oriented. For me, knowing facts is not enough; a person should also be able to think for oneself.
