I want the opportunity to create a close and intimate relationship with someone from the safety (at least at first) of a keyboard and many miles distance. I am so withdrawn right now that I do not go out or have any friends at all. I am convinced my isolation makes me uninteresting to people, so I isolate myself further. Yet I truly believe I could enrich someone's life, as I am kind, loyal, and thoughtful. I am looking for someone who accepts or even likes the idea that they might hold most of my attention from the beginning, and someone who needs or would like new levels of true intimacy. I am painfully shy, but that's grounded in politeness and humility that I hold to as good qualities. I do not want someone who counterpoints that, but rather someone for whom 'not wanting to impose' is also a painful burden. Perhaps this is the right place to ask.
