About me...I joined this site to meet someone for a long-term relationship.I enjoy working in social/human services to help children and adults
with developmental disabilities and other challenges be as independent as possible. I enjoy books and movies. I read as much as I can.
I like poltical books, non-fiction about history, the Holocaust, current issue books and horror, suspense drama movies. For music, I like U2, Oasis, Coldplay, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Radiohead.
More about me...I like politics and interesting conversations about them. I listen to talk radio often. Talk-radio leans more to the right. But, I'm not a conservative (right, Repub) or liberal (left, Democrat). For example, property taxes have risen to support public education during the past 20 years. But has the quality of education risen to the same degree? I say quality is good, but local tax hikes can't occur every year. Dems want higher teacher pay and longer school days all of which take more taxes. Overall, I have liberal opinions on some issues and conservative on others.
I enjoy cooking and have made eggplant parm, sheppards pie, meatloaf. The more complicated dishes will come with time. I've never made a Greek dish, but there are a few good Greek restaurants.
I enjoy reading and learning about my religion, Eastern Orthodox Christian.
I also enjoy restaurants, Indian, Mexican and Greek food, Greek being my ethnicity, are nice now and then.
