Introverted man seeks introverted woman. I Have been extremely introverted my entire life, and while I can fake extroversion for short periods (20 minutes, or so) I find it exhausting. In this spirit, I have decided to simply pry my cards away from my vest and lay them on the table. I find the prospect of small talk or social settings almost terrifying in their forced closeness, and would never attempt either except for the unfortunate fact that it is highly unlikely that I will meet, much less genuinely connect with someone while sitting alone in my apartment (not that I haven't tried to convince myself that it is somehow possible). As an alternative to the painful modern mating dance involving awkward conversation (admittedly the awkwardness is usually exclusively mine) with a woman who doesn't understand how hard it is for me to make the "getting to know you" small talk that most people seem to spout so effortlessly, I have decided to seek out my own kind in the hope of never having to explain introversion to an extrovert again.
