I might be shy and very quiet when uncomfortable in a situation, but that doesn't mean I don't have anything to say. Though uncomfortable situations for me mean "situations that involve more than three people". It is pretty hard for me to speak up when others don't keep the "rules".
I am an introvert and inside in my head is a rich world. My head is filled with thoughts about everything, randomly popping up to then be written down or disappear. Sometimes I feel empty and lonely.
