Looking to break the silence After years of shying away from people, I'm ready to come out of the closet... not the gay one, but, well, y'know.

There have been so many potential relationships I've passed in life all because I was too scared; scared of being judged, scared to express myself, scared of others seeing me in a new light. In reality, it's really dumb to be afraid of connecting with people, yet it's been a life long struggle.

Don't get me wrong, I CAN socialize and I do function well enough in the real world to get by. Like a lot of shy folk, I can talk, talk, talk til I run out of chalk once I'm outta my shell. But chances are if you find me, I'll be the one in the back room "pretending" to be busy.

So yep, I'm one of those crazy, aloof introverts. But for once in my life, I'm willing to give relationships a chance! And if my eccentricities don't scare you, please give me a chance... all I really want in life is to make you laugh and feel loved.

...I'm ready for a change, damn it!
