Curious...does anyone think like me?

The most important thing anyone needs to know about me is that I don't think like the average person. I observe, not only the outside world, but myself as well, and reflect on what is right and wrong. Social anxiety is the obvious result when this is the core of who you are. I am a deeply caring person with intense emotions, although intimacy is difficult for me because sharing who I really am usually results in dislike and misunderstanding. Everyone wants to be understood, but most of us have trouble communicating. I am constantly working on improving my communication skills. I do love physical expressions of caring, but because even eye contact can be difficult for me, I have a tough time even making friends. I'm okay with that, though. Casual friendships never work for me. I must connect on deeper levels.

Politics. There is nothing more immoral than the desire to preside over other people's property and do their thinking for them. Which is why I am not interested in PARTICIPATING in politics. I'll have discussions about anything, though, as long as the conversation is civil.
