I struggle to find words sometimes when talking in person. So, like most people here, I'm hoping chatting and getting to know people on this site will help me to open up.

I am pretty shy and it takes me a fair amount of time to begin to come out of my shell, so to speak. And even when I am comfortable with people a lot of times I'm just a quiet person. I don't mind being out in a group but much prefer to be on the outside, listening. As soon as the groups attention turns to me is about when the anxiety kicks in. I've also learned being alone is nice, being lonely, not so much.

So, in short, shy and introverted with some mild anxiety tendencies in certain situations. I hope to meet folks here and have some nice conversations and see where things go from there.
