Hello, I am a very shy, socially awkward male looking for a woman with similar interests or personality, or a tolerance for someone like me who is shy/anxious. I have AVPD (Avoidance Personality Disorder), yet I am looking to slowly dip my feet into the waters of the dating scene. One of my curses, depending on your point of view, is that I look like I'm in my late 20's, so I got that going for me! I consider myself highly educated, as I have a bachelors degree from a major private university in Philadelphia, as well as work experience with a Fortune 100 company. However, with my "personality disorder", and because I worked with aggressive sales people (read: extroverts) it was difficult for me to work in that office environment. I now invest in stocks from home, my parent's house, and it suits me perfectly and I love it as it keeps me occupied. But it does get lonely and boring at times.

I am looking to make a change and gradually leave my comfort zone, and I'm hoping that by meeting the right companion I will develop the confidence to live life to the fullest, in spite of my social flaws. Last year was a time for deep introspection and self discovery, and I have decided that I would greatly value the opportunity to connect with a like minded woman, either for friendship or a more romantic relationship.
