I'm an artist/writer and an inveterate thinker. I like the subtle pleasures of life: the old-guy profile a mound of melting snow makes, the thrill of a well-placed adjective, the ornate façade of a forgotten old building. I love going to underground movies, indie music concerts, avant-garde art openings--anything nonmainstream. I also love spending time with intelligent, creative, witty people. Unique folks and unique culture have definitely improved my life.
