I have dark brown hair and brown eyes with green hazel. I wear glasses and am of a paler complexion with freckles. I am honest to a fault and prefer conversations about relevant things to idle chit chat, though I understand that what everyone things is important in relative to them. I am introverted by nature and therefore tend to be shy around new people. This is compounded by my mild Asperger's Syndrome since my diminished ability to notice and respond to non-verbal cues can create awkward or tense moments with people I am not familiar with and have not learned how to respond to yet. I tend to do better alone or in small groups because large groups drain me of energy, though depending on the occasion I have gotten better at managing with more people around. At the end of the day I would prefer to have a good meal at home and read a book or play a game over going out to bars or clubs. In many respects I do fit the archetypal nerd and pursue some of the standard interests, such as role playing games, reading frequently, watching Anime, among others.

I am looking for a woman that can understand my awkwardness and who knows that once we get to know each other it becomes much better and easier to communicate. Someone that wants to grow as an individual and become a better person that can also help push me to be better as much as I strive to help them. Someone who can appreciate the little things in life but still does not mind reaching for the big things with desires and goals. While it would be great to share some of the same hobbies and interests I understand we would not be able to share all of them, but I think at least having some things in common that complement each other helps.

A couple things that do matter are I do not smoke, so I have trouble being around smokers. I drink alcohol very rarely but do not mind someone that drinks occasionally. I am undecided about children and a I generally get along well with pets.
