To find out what this is like. I have been described as shy since I was in the second grade. I am not as shy as I was when I was a child. Some days I do not feel shy. Some people I am shy around, and others not. I can't really explain it. There are supposed to be some good characteristics of being shy (like we are credited with good listening skills and being more ]empathetic ), but there are many frustrations that come with it too. I have just been making myself do things I am afraid to do gradually. I thought I would check this out. I am 43 years old and trying to make some changes. I noticed that this site has other options (like support and just friends) and that may be helpful.
