Benevolent Anarchist Well, this cyberspace ------ arena is a bit eerie; however, I will attempt to assuage the obvious inclination of one who possesses the barest thread of reason, the trepidation of actual conversation, such as it may be, with a complete stranger. I'm new to the coast after retiring from an accounting firm upstate. After the passing of my spouse, I decided that a change of, well everything would be best. My kids, the erstwhile "black-holes-of-need", are grown and gone and now shepherding the lives of lesser men!
I am only interested in friendship for quite some time. Someone who shares my love of literature, but not a devotee of Sylvia Plath! Someone who realizes not only the poignancy of Dostoevsky, but he's humor as well.
This autumn marks the tenth year of being a widower, so I feel it's time to drop the designation on my bio and reboot as single. After a decade of introspection, I've come to believe there must be others who have almost exhausted their emotional capital, but still enjoy the occasional interaction of a laid-back relationship; perhaps tacit, yet uncomplicated and meaningful.
