I can be a bit quiet and shy at first (I wouldn't be on here if I wasn't; the site is called ShyPassions) and found the move from uni back home to be difficult with all my close friends being scattered around the country. Got a good group of friends up here too but I'm always hoping to meet like-minded people. I'm hoping there's someone that can look past that initial shyness and hesitation. I'm guessing we're all on this site because we identify ourselves as shy or introverted I'm hoping I'll find people who can do that on here. If it takes a little longer for us to open up than it does other people then it takes a little longer.
I find that you have to cast a wide net on a site like this because shy people by their nature aren't that likely to sign up to dating sites so there are never very many in the area. So I don't mind chatting to people who are farther afield in the country. I'm not sure where I'm going to end up myself so I might not be in Newcastle next year. If I am, well, there's still buses and trains
