shyness I was always a shy person. When I was younger, I would mash my face in my mother's back! I still don't start conversations, say hi first, or make eye contact. Eye contact was always hard for me. When I speak, it is always quietly and very inhibited unless i am around someone I know. I am a timid soul and always will be. When I am in a social situation, I am the quiet observer. I HATE doing public performances!I am autistic, a special olympics veteran for 10 years with 89 medals. I graduated with a 3.8 in 2003. I have 2 part-time jobs.I guess I am very modest. When I am given a compliment, I turn red, and I get very shy and very introverted. I would try to hide if possible.
