Everyone Needs a Little Push As my title indicates I am a freelance writer. I contribute to a weekly, a theatre website, and will soon be published in a regional magazine. I also keep two blogs of my own.

I also am working on a novel, as I expand my portfolio of fiction work. None of it has been submitted for publication yet, but I hope to do so some day.

I spend a lot of my free time on stage as a community player. (one of my blogs, offbook.blogspot.com covers my acting adventures.)

I like to go on long walks on the C&O Canal. (I live in Frederick County, Maryland.) I detest the whole bar/club scene, and prefer to meet people in a more organic way. Usually this means getting to know someone engaged in a mutual passion, but online endeavors can also be a fun way to meet new people. (Which is why I am here.)

I am politically progressive and I vote.

I follow no particular religion, but am certainly a constant spiritual seeker. There is truth is just about all paths. I refuse to put God in a box, and define Him and his desires.

I hope to meet someone who, like me, is just as at home at a football game as they are at the opening night at the Opera. Someone silly who knows when to be serious. Someone who is modest but not coy about their s----lity.

I don't smoke, and neither do you if you hope to get too close to me. No drugs either.

I also am willing to be friends with a lot of different people, but those with children are probably not going to ever be more than friends with me at this time.
