I've recently moved to Folsom. I miss the SF Bay Area, but it's been nice here. I haven't really met any new people since moving here, and I'd like to change that with the help of this site.

I've realized lately that I'm probably a rare hybrid of half geek, half jock. Not the best at being either, but it helps me to get along with just about everyone I meet. I grew up playing both video games and sports, so I guess I've naturally grown to like them both.

One thing I've loved my entire life is the art of storytelling. I've watched and loved movies my entire life to the point where I wanted to become a filmmaker. I tried being a screenwriter for a few years, but life got in the way. I hope to one day still go back to that, but I'm realistic.

The storytelling aspect has been rejuvenated lately, and found a relatively easy way to tell some stories. And that's by being a machinima director and voice actor. It's a fun hobby that I'm into because I just love making these movies and I love having thousands of people watching my videos on YouTube. This, I guess, is where the geekier part of me has jumped out the last year or so, I'm having tons of fun doing it. Most of my movies are comedies, but also do pretty much every other genre.

I am damn shy at first, yet witty, and funny after a drink. On a first date, I'd like to get to know someone over some drinks or a meal somewhere. I'm looking for someone who is funny, and who doesn't mind staying in or going to the movies as opposed to someone who frequently likes to go to social gatherings like parties or clubs. I've tried going to clubs in the past, with my shyness, it's just not my thing.
