I've never been married, have no children and I haven't dated a lot, however I have dated recently. I may be a bit shy at first, but that depends on your personality. If you show to be a genuine person with an interest in talking, then I'm not shy. Yes, I’m romantic; I have a sensitive side with plenty of emotions too. I want to start slow to see if we could have a great friendship as well. (Best friend’s means everything to me!) It simply cannot work if it doesn't have that. I believe in open, honest communication with each other at all times without mind games or secrets and I will treat you as my equal. I feel, if two people love each other, there should be no dominating, or degrading one another! I consider myself to be a happy person, I love life and I'm very happy to be here (always!). I rarely feel long term depressed and I'm hoping to find someone similar. I want to meet someone between 43-48 years old. I have an entire lifetime of; thoughts, opinions, dreams and desires that I want someone to be able to relate and talk to about. If we are of different generations, those stories will mean much less to each other! Your life's sorrows, tragedies and happiest moments, I feel can only be closely related if we are close in ages.

You may be disappointed. However, I’m not a homebody either. I love summer and I’m usually busy outside doing something. I enjoy simple activities with someone special.
