I think the best way to start out is with a quote of Benicio Del Toro's: "So I'm an individual, I do my own thing". I've never followed the crowd, not really. If it turns out to be something I like anyway, then I don't shy away from being among the masses. I am artistic: I draw, create digital images, and make my own jewelry. My clothing style completely depends on my mood. One day I will walk out of the house looking like Joan of Arcadia, the next I will be a walking 'bebe' advertisement. Which reminds me, I am a magpie and, as such, have a tendency to be distracted by shiny things. I am a cat-lover and simply must make friends with every one I come across. I am an avid reader and love anything by Kathleen O'Neal Gear & W. Michael Gear, Hunter S. Thompson, Thomas King, and Margaret Laurence. I love to learn about Native American history and archaeology/anthropology. I also absolutely adore movies and tv shows, and I really don't care who knows it. They bring me joy. I'm like a non-detective version of Remington Steele. But I think I have enough interests outside of that that they're balanced. I enjoy going to classic car shows but I don't pretend to know what's under the hood. If you have kids, that's fantastic, because I think I might want kids too, I just don't want yours. No offense, I'm sure they're teriffic, but I want to have my own. I'm a city kid who was raised by farm kids, so I appreciate both lifestyles.
I'm spiritual, but my beliefs are in a constant state of evolution. I like elements of Native American beliefs, Buddhism, and Christianity. The only thing I don't believe in is organized religion. I want to meet other introverts. I'm looking for friends initially of either gender. I'm heterosexual, but wouldn't mind meeting galpals too. I'm very shy and quiet at first, but that will fade.
