So many people talk about how men and women are different. Really? Is that right? Instead of worrying about the differences, let's talk about how we are the same.

We are all searching for the same thing. We all want a relationship that will give us joy. There is no "Battle of the Sexes." We need to throw out the idea that there is some competition to get what we want. We should be partners helping each other reach that goal.

Now, different people will want different things out of a relationship. However, there are some basic common traits everyone should want.

Honesty is imporant to me, as I think it is with everyone. Nobody likes to be lied to. Of course, some people still lie even knowing honesty's importance, but, personally, it is vital that I BE honest, not just receive honesty.

Everyone wants to have fun in their relationship. People say that I make them laugh. I enjoy doing that. If I can brighten someone's day with humor, I feel great.

Many people want a companion that has some sensitivity. Who wants to be with someone that's cold and uncaring? No, it's much better to be compassionate.
