First of all, hello!

My name is Mike and I am a very shy 30 year old from Manchester. I may be quiet but I am also very caring, loyal and sensitive. Nothing would upset me more than to know that I had hurt the feelings of someone else.

I enjoy reading, going to the cinema, the odd bit of football, a cool beer, nice restaurants and and friendly cats. I prefer the company of a small group of good friends than an army of people who I don't really know.

My shyness makes me really nervous in social situations so other people don't always see me at my best at first but once I am relaxed my normal personality shines through.

I'm just looking for some company at the moment. Anything from a life long companion or an e-mail friend is fine. I'm also open to trying new things so our interests need not be the same but I would like to meet someone who is caring, trustful and genuine.
