a method to the madness I'm pretty much a walking paradox, so it's pretty hard to describe myself to others. I guess, in simple terms, I enjoy the nerdier things in life. But I'm not limited to locking myself up with my laptop; I love camping, kayaking, and just getting out with my friends. I would say I'm not high maintenance, but I know most girls so that, so I'm not going to spoil any delusions just yet...
I consider myself smart; I'm well-read and love classic movies and literature. It's something I pride myself on. I have a large, loud, close-knit family (think 'My Big Fat Greek Wedding' minus the Greeks). I'm the oldest and only girl on my mom's side of the family, so I REALLY can do no wrong.
I graduated from college with a B.A. in English in December '07. Instead of opting to go into teaching right away (I minored in secondary education - grades 8 to 12), I decided to try my hand at something else. I am currently working in Marketing and Development, but I plan to go back to teaching within the next year or so. I also plan on going back to school for my Masters and Doctoral degrees.
