Ahem, Hi everyone, I'm Sean and I'm a self-proclaimed introvert / loner / socially-phobic / insert other social generality here / etc, lurker around here. Maybe I'm exaggerating a tad but it is a website for shy people after all, right? I can't lie, I'm definitely not the most socially outgoing person, but it's mainly only initially. Once I get to know someone, I'm a friend for life.
As you can see, I'm not the best looking guy around, and I'm certainly not in the best of shape, but I'd like to think I make up for my physical shortcomings through character. I'm a very perceptive person. I'm pretty good at picking up on social and emotional queues and I like talking about anything and everything. I've always felt that a lack of communication is the bane of a strong relationship or friendship so I like to keep the lines open. I have two really good friends that I've known for over a decade, and I have that kind of relationship with them - we're like brothers. I'd love to have that awesome relationship on a romantic, intimate level and I'm really hoping to find it here.
All that seriousness aside, I'm actually a pretty easy going kind of guy. Once I warm up, I love to laugh freely, and I've got a very open-minded sense of humor. I'm also a nerd if you haven't guessed yet lol, but I've never thought of nerd as a bad word. To me, it translates to someone being more interesting and individual. Screw social restrictions! *shakes fist!*
Hobby wise, I'm a big gamer (online mainly) and a guitarist of about 12 years. It's almost like meditation for me :p.
